I just came to discover your profile. It would seem that you are preparing for an exceptionally long journey! I must wonder what may have inspired in you this very serious case of wander lust. Could it be a lust for wandering? *wry smile* I have travelled extensively myself, but to far fewer places than your itinerary suggests you will attempt.

At present I am in Athens, but most likely I shall leave Greece within the next two or three months before it collapses into "controlled" chaos. Before Greece I was living and working in Italy, which is where my father was born.

Such good fortune to hold a U.K. passport. I wonder if you lived in Great Britain for long? What sort of work did you do if I may know? Perhaps our paths will cross at some point and we can swap funny travel tales.
