Hello !

I am traveling to Marrakech on the 19th of this month. I am currently in Mexico, will fly from Cancun to Madrid on the 16th, two nights in Madrid and then onto Marrakech. I have been traveling on and off for about the past two years, have worked in several hostels along the way including just recently in San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas Mexico. The hostel I worked for is called La Iguana and it enjoys an excellent reputation among the travelling community here.

This will be my first time in North Africa and I would love to spend a period of my travels there working with you at your hostel. One of the best things I have found about volunteering in a foreign country is you get an incredibly unique opportunity to view life through the lens of people who actually live there. I am also interested in taking an Arabic language course as currently I do not speak any of the language.

I can cook, although the bulk of my cooking experience has been in Latin American and American cuisine, I do know my way around a kitchen and can follow directions well. I am handy with social media, and do not mind helping out in all the little ways often overlooked that help a successful hostel {or riad} run.
