sorry for my late answer..mail got little bit lost…
Thank you for your mail. It would be nice to have you coming over to our island. We are still planning a trip in july and I do not know the exact dates yet, but we would be back around end of july. So as from beginning of august you are welcome ! The work to be done will be mostly gardenwork, weeding, watering, and maybe some heavier jobs but that is still too early to plan. The kids could play with our kids, feed the chickens, bring up some wood…for example. We do live far, 40 min walk, from the village. I would suggest to rent a car, maybe not the whole period, but it will be nicer to see more from the island. You can stay in a little apartment, it has kitchenette, bathroom, double bed and a double sleepbank. During august we will also go for a weektrip to the mainland so it would be nice if you can take care of the house during that time. We were thinking of asking you an amount per day for the time we are there together and the days we are gone you don,t pay, but supply your own food. This is our first time we will be hosting a whole family so we did not really thought about amounts… These are some first thoughts… I will send you later this week some more information, but maybe it is easier if you ask questions… write to our emailadres: johanenastja@sapo.pt, it is much easier.
