My name Is Stephen/Steve. I’m a 23 year old Canadian from Vancouver. I quit the military (infantry) after 5 years, and sold most of my stuff so that I could travel for a long time. My trip is about learning about the world, myself, existence, and without trying to sound lame – the meaning of life. And that’s what i’m doing now.

I love talking about philosophy, spirituality, world affairs, existence, outer space, technology, etc. Basically all the BIG things in life, and life itself.

I’m a bit eccentric, I suppose. I’m pretty sarcastic, and mellow. My taste in music is usually really underground stuff (and I really dislike most mainstream/popular music). However my all time favourite band is dead can dance.

My favourite movies are the ones that make you really think, and question life, existence, the status quo, etc. Watch The Man From Earth, and you’ll see what I mean.

I’m hard to offend, and if I HAD to identify myself close to a particular "group" of people, I think my way of thinking would make me very close to Buddhist.
