“The traveler sees what he sees. The tourist sees what he has come to see.” ? G.K. Chesterton

dear citizen of the world, greetings!

i guess this is the part where i make a small introduction of myself, something that will help you find out who i am, if our personalities match & will determine if you’ll surf my couch, host me or just meet me for a coffee.

generally i’m an easy going, out going, well rounded, well travelled, open minded, open hearted, laid back, chilled out & fun to talk to person. i’m a joker, i’m a talker & all that jazz. but you already suspect that, don’t you?

seriously now, i understand that this site was created in order to support the budget traveller who’s travelling through the cities of the world. the reason i’m using this platform is because i really want to know people & their culture better. so if we could dedicate some time to each other we’ll both be wiser at the end. if not it would be a lost chance to interact & learn from each other.

but i’ve said enough. thanks for your understanding. safe travels!

dear visitor, welcome to hellas (greece) & have a nice holiday!

we both like to cook & taste wine, travel & explore, meet new people & communicate, make cultural exchanges & learn new things, hike & live outdoors. if you want to be part of our lives try to synchronise with us. answering these questions will help you accomplish that: "have i done enough for the fellow travellers?", "can i spend more than 2 days with my hosts?", "do i have the time to contact them & make the arrangements properly?", "do i really want to meet & bond with these people?". if you’re positive in all the above then get ready for a great new experience. life’s an adventure!

enjoy your stay!

we live in a comfy appartment 10 minutes from ano patisia train station, 30 minutes from syntagma square (city center), 45 minutes from piraeus port & 60 minutes from eleftherios venizelos airport.
