My name is DangHuynh, 24 years old and I am living with folk. I am kinda easy going, friendly and enthusiastic, and my family is also. I am a travel maniac. Although, I never go elsewhere outside Vietnam but that always inspire me to travel and explore everything. I do believe that sooner or later I will do it. Just like people, I like meeting new friends, especially is foreigner friends. I love listening strange stories about their country, about other cultures or custom that I never heard or only see it on TV.
You can use my own room and sleep on my bed, my bed is not really big, it’s barely enough for one person, another one can sleep on the ground or mattress, you can use television, air conditioner and to read Vietnamese books if you can understand. The toilet is next to my room and totally private. I am living with my folk, they are quite friendly and easy. We have not pets, smoking is prohibited. You can go out and get home late as long as you don’t get drunk.
There is something that you need to know about my couch. My place next to the international air port, it takes you around 20 mins to reach of there, but quite far to go downtown(45 mins). If you have intend to visit some interesting places in HCM city such as museums, cathedrals, pubs, night clubs, book stores or so on, backpack area is the most likely place for staying.
But in which cases you should stop in my couch??
-That is when you think that you would spend your last day with local people before leaving.
-That is when you are afraid of going a long way to the air port and want to reach of there soon.
-That is when you think that you can pay few hundred of thousands for a taxi driver everyday to go to the city center. (that is wasting of money for me, of course I can take you go around but not every time in that way sometimes )
-That is when you want to save money for 1 night by staying with local. ( something’s better than nothing 😀 )
P/s: If you are really not in anything listed above, we’re also welcome to you.

Dang stayed at my place in Bangkok for (I don’t know) a week? We were in contact before through staydu and just met up at Khao san road (where else). Then he moved to my place and it was really good. Unfortunately I did not have that much time since I had to work in the day. But at night we were walking around Bangkok in search for the next party or 7/11 to get our traditional instant nudels (>picture). I am looking forward to meet Dang the next time. Traveling with Dang aronud Asia is by the way really cool because he seems to be a local anywhere. He just should learn some more languages..
Dang and I traveled almost for 4 months together thorugh SouthEastAsia. Dang is a wonderful person!! thanks for everything!
